- The Plastic People of the Universe (PPU) fue una banda de rock de Praga (República Checa). Fueron los principales representantes de la corriente musical Prague underground (en tre los años 1960 y 1990). El grupo fue ejemplo de avantgarde durante el régimen comunista y su no conformismo le ocasionó seriosproblemas que incluyeron el arresto de varios de sus miembros en 1976. Las letras de sus canciones fueron escritas por Egon Bondy.
